I always seem to blog when I'm bored... funny that.
But I have an innovative new idea for a blog post!
Quotes. I love quotes and have a knack for remembering them... so here are a few of my faves. Or ones I can remember at the time:
Quotes from friends:
One from maths class "It's eleven fifty seven" funnily enough we came up with that at 11:57
Another from my friend "The snowball rolled forward but back in time"
The same friend "Sorry I didn't text back, my phone was down [boyfriend's name]'s pants"
"I gladwrapped [cling-filmed] someone to the pole at Puke Ariki [Museum] today"
'"LDR's are hard"
"What are they?"
"Long Distance Relationships"
"Oh lol I thought they were something from maths."'
Quotes from teachers:
"Afroooooo" - accompanied by a very bad cartoon of an afro from my history teacher
'"Pololo is the Chilean slang for boyfriend"
"Anita! Do you have a boyfriend in Chile?"
Teacher: "Give her a chance!"'
Random quotes:
"We are all in the gutter but some of us are staring at the stars." - Oscar Wilde
"One thousand miles is pretty far/But they've got planes and trains and cars,/I'll walk to you if there's no other way." Plain White Tees
"I thought Canada and the USA were like separate islands"
'"Omg I found out I was going to the USA. He rang up and he was like 'you have been accepted to the United States' and I was like 'which part? Not Canada or Mexico?' and he was like 'No the United States'"
Quotes from books:
"There is one way to understand another culture. Living it. Move into it, ask to be tolerated as a guest, learn the language. At some point understanding may come. It will always be wordless. The moment you grasp what is foreign, you will lose the urge to explain it." - A lovely quote from the book I am reading, Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow, by Danish author Perter Høeg.
I might update this frequently because I love quotes... I have a really really good one but I'll have to ask my friend because I can't remember it. So yeah, that's me. And I'll finish with a random photo that I took on PhotoBooth.
Ciao for now!
Anita

Me: Nineish
Richard: Oh. My Watch is wrong. I thought it was eight.
Random Man walking past: Hey richard, you're in early!
Richard: No i'm not, its nine o'clock. I'm late.
